Orchestra Programs & Camps
For the students who perform well in the Festival, the judges will 'rank' the performers in each festival session. This list will be sent to the various string camp administrators for them to decide on recruitment and scholarships. Other summer music camps and/or orchestra programs may or may not request this same list. It will be available to them, but it is their prerogative whether or not to employ this list for recruitment and scholarships.
If you or your students desire to attend a certain camp, please follow the guidelines as listed on the camp's website. We will endeavor to keep this list updated, but please refer to the camp or program's website for current information. Click to view more about each camp or program:
Vivace Youth Orchestras are dedicated to inspiring young musicians and enriching our community through exceptional orchestral experiences. By providing opportunities for students to develop their skills and perform symphonic and chamber music, Vivace fosters creativity, discipline and collaboration. These performances bring the joy of live music to audiences and create meaningful connections within the community.
The orchestras meet in American Fork on Wednesday afternoons.

Mountains & Strings (must be at least 13) - July 13-18, 2026
Idaho's Harriman State Park.
Students will form small ensembles and receive coaching from professional musicians, and showcase their progress in a performance at the end of the week. In addition to chamber music, they participate in a string orchestra led by Alice Coulam, as well as fiddling groups or cello choir, and have opportunities to participate in a master class & private lessons.
